Rain Gauges
The rain gauge was installed adjacent to the East
Avenue and Plainfield Road intersection within the
secure fenced area containing the large Village of La
Grange water reservoir. This site was selected due
to the controlled access, and due to the ideal open
space characteristics, which offer the unobstructed
collection of rainfall.
